The seventh annual Ferdinand Folk Festival, Saturday, September 17, 2016, will have food, art vendors, and educational booths open from 11:30 am to approximately 6:00 pm.

12 pm. – 12:30 pm: Children’s Concert with Andrea Wirth, lower shelter house

12:35 pm – 1 pm: Ferdinand the Bull children’s theater, lower shelter house

1:05 pm – 1:30 pm: Children's Harmonica Workshop with Art the Dude, lower shelter house

1:35 pm – 2 pm: Ferdinand the Bull children’s theater encore presentation, lower shelter house

2 pm – 3 pm: "Learning to Fly" by Talon Trust

3:05 pm – 3:30 pm: Children's Harmonica Workshop with Art the Dude, lower shelter house

3:30 pm – 4 pm: Andy and Henry Hagedorn Children’s Concert, lower shelter house

4 pm – 5 pm (or until shirts run out): Tie Dye Shirt Making for Kids, lower shelter house

5 pm: Strings, Inc., Children's Concert and Instrument Petting Zoo, lower shelter house

Morning hike in the Ferdinand State Forest

All Day: Jam Area, upper shelter house

All Day: Pedal Power, in the Market area

All Day: Solar Viewing, south of the playground

All Day: Tour a Tiny House by Burrow Tiny Homes, near the “Tent Talks” locations

10 am – 11 am: Tai Chi, on NextEra Main Stage upper lawn

2:30 pm – 3 pm: Drum Circle led by the Jefferson Street Parade Band, near basketball court

3:30 pm - 4:15 pm: Yoga on the Hill, on the lawn above the NextEra Main Stage

4 pm – 4:30 pm: Songwriters’ Workshop led by Harpeth Rising, upper shelter house


1:00 pm ET - Understanding Tai Chi, Q and A, by Sifu Ron Weatherford
2:00 pm ET - Medieval Festival Returns to Ferdinand! by Dan and Catherine Le Blanc
3:00 pm ET - Project ACORN, Autumn Classes, by members of Project ACORN committee
4:00 pm ET - Pedal Power, Renewable Energy and Conservation, by Jim Daniels *Note-this will take place at the booth instead
