Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

While Mother Nature may have dampened our morning, she didn't dampen our spirits. By early afternoon, the hill was already filling with friends, families, and visitors taking in the awesome music and the dry weather, the market area was teeming with activities and Ferdinand's 18th Street Park was once again showing it's best for all to see.

Thanks to Brother, Son, Anna Wrasse, Bethany Boeglin, Hayley Payne, the Troubadours of Divine Bliss, Harpeth Rising, the Jefferson Street Parade Band, Jonathan Tyler, the Buffalo Killers, and Rich Robinson for providing us with outstanding entertainment all day long.

Thanks to our art, education, environment, food, and wine vendors for showcasing to everyone your skills, passions, and talents.

Thanks to all of our sponsors. Your generous support gives us the ability to grow this festival every year.

Thanks to the many volunteers that help pull this great event off each year. Your time and dedication before and the day of the festival are appreciated more than we can ever express.

And most of all, thanks to all our guests for attending and supporting this event. It is you that we put this special day on for and it is you that keeps it going with your purchases, donations and your attendance.

We'll see you all next year for the 8th Annual Ferdinand Folk Festival on Saturday, September 16, 2017!

Rain or Shine!

The Ferdinand Folk Festival is only three days away and, as it is an all-day outdoor event, there is the very real possibility (assuming you’ve looked at the forecast) that we might experience our first rain event in our seven year history.

We are a rain or shine event and, regardless of weather, will do everything we can to continue with our day as scheduled. However, should there be any severe weather, we will always defer to the safety of our visitors, performers, and volunteers and be very proactive in that approach. One way or the other, we are very much looking forward to Saturday and hope you are, too!

2016 Ferdinand Folk Festival Poster

Every year our graphic designer, Aaron Trafton, does excellent work creating t-shirts and posters for the Ferdinand Folk Festival. Last year and again this year, he has captured the creative process via timelapse. This year's poster ties into the "Ferdinand the Bull" connection.
