The RiverTown Storytellers at the River’s Bend is a group of people dedicated to the art of storytelling.

They actively:

• Promote excellence in storytelling.
• Increase public awareness of storytelling as an art form and educational tool.
• Provide opportunities to participate in storytelling activities.

Mary Jo is a multi-award-winning author, recording aritist, storyteller and workshop leader. She is the author of the Pegasus award winning “Storytelling with Puppets, Props and Playful Tales, Creative Storytelling by Frog Street Press, 2010, Story Play: Building Language and Literacy One STory at a Time! by Gryphon House Pub., 2011″

She has AWARD WINNING books, CDs and DVDs available on her web site store along with many other storytelling resources. Share many years of experience wrapped up into a complete presentation featuring stories, props, puppets and amazing resources.

Snap, clap, wiggle and giggle with a high energy-interactive presentation. Mary Jo has 35 years of experience with young children. She presents interactive storytelling fun with your choice of fairy tales, scary tales, or a mix of Mary Jo’s favorite tales.

Jeff Jones, aka “Ike Jones”, is a storyteller, comedian, teacher, coach, and writer. His repertoire includes funny strories, ghost stories, inspirational stories and African folktales. Over the years, Jeff has performed at festivals, churches, country music shows, schools and corporate events. His humor is clean, family-friendly and funny. Jeff lives in Maceo, Kentucky with his wife, Nancy, and an assortment of dogs, pigs, and chickens.
